The Globe

The places and cultures we immerse ourselves in shape each collection. They leave their imprint through color, craft, flavor, and tradition. We explore new cultures, uncover powerful stories, and document each journey.

From the streets we wander to the tables we gather around, our travels remind us that adventure is everywhere and inspiration is endless. Our mission is to celebrate these distinct cultures while empowering the individuals who make them beautiful.

The world is yours.

Which Islands?

Paros, Milos, Hydra, Aegina, Antiparos, Poros, Spetses

Why Greece?

We set sail around Greece to inspire the first collection of Dream Girl in celebration of Jo’s heritage. Her Yiayia and Papou were born in Greece almost 100 years ago and these Mediterranean roots created a magical start line.

Recipes

Restaurant Recommendation: Astakas

At the water’s edge in the Klima fishing village of Milos sits one of our favorite restaurants in the world. Astakas not only served us the largest octopus tentacle we’ve ever seen, but also treated us to a stunning view of the colorful fisherman huts and more than a few ouzo shots on the house. Go for the food and the views, but stay for the beautiful people working there who wear the pride of Greece on their chests.

Artisan Spotlight: Katerina Psoma

Stop by Katerina Psoma’s atelier in the heart of Athens, where the renowned Athens-born jewelry designer’s opulent little universe comes to life. Known for reimagining classic jewelry through a vintage lens, Katerina blends glamorous retro influences with a modern, cosmopolitan flair. Inspired by art history and her Greek heritage, her handcrafted pieces feel like tiny treasures.

Activity: Day Trip to Antiparos

For just 7 euros you can ferry from Paros to Antiparos for a day of exploring! What was once a deserted, unassuming island is now full of treasure. Antiparos is full of swanky beach clubs, the cutest boutiques, and tavernas galore. We especially loved our afternoon at Beach House Paros (must go) where Jo asked Kenzie to be her bridesmaid. They taxied back to the ferry, soaking wet with saltwater, covered in sand, and crying happy tears.

Culture Highlight: Greek Dancing

Don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes! If Greek dancing is happening where you are, the Greeks will pull you into the mix. Wrap your arms around the last person in line and follow their footwork. And if you see Greeks dancing arm in arm, round and round in circles, go hop right in - the energy is infectious and it’s all for fun!

Favorite View: The Sunset off Hydra

The cliffside of Hydra is a sight to be seen on its own. But, if you do a 180 degree turn at dinner time, the sunset is breathtaking. The pink and purple skies set right over the mountainous islands in the distance and life feels all but a dream. We twirled away at the sunset together and sat for dinner where Jo ordered all of her Greek favorites to the table.

Where Should We Go Next?
